A world where health is personal, and health information respects the needs and realities of the people it serves. This world is made possible when individuals, organizations, and communities are connected and empowered.
The Public Good Projects (PGP) is a nonprofit organization that directs the power of mass media to solutions for our nation’s most pressing health problems.
PGP's mission is to disrupt public health, in order to advance public health. PGP works by bringing together leaders from the private and public sectors, as well as advanced tools and techniques. This expertise is leveraged to create large-scale change.
PGP believes health encompasses socioeconomic status, education, the physical environment, employment, and social support networks, as well as access to health care. Founded by Emmy-award winning documentary producer John Hoffman, PGP is led by experts in health, media, and marketing. Each of PGP's programs is in fulfillment of our bold mission A Healthy America.
